New Ambulance Transfer Service at Homerton

 

Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the first hospitals in London to introduce a new intermediate care ambulance service to promptly transfer patients between hospitals and clinics for further care within 60 minutes.

The non-emergency support service, provided by Medical Services, is helping the hospital to tackle a growing demand for responsive patient transfers following the London Ambulance Service’s decision to focus on emergency calls.
